Nutrition and healthy lifestyle are very important for our health. Thus, I try to prepare as healthy food as I can and eat on a regular basis in the course of the day.
Today’s chicken salad belongs to such healthy food, in my humble opinion.
First of all, please boil chicken fillet (a fresh one, not frozen), slice it and put it away for a while.
Then prepare canned corn, fresh cucumber, bell peppers, tomatoes, lettuce leaves, fresh basil (purple), green onions and dice them as well.
Put everything in a large bowl and toss it well while pouring dry basil vinaigrette prepared in advance.
200 gr – chicken fillet
1 – bell pepper
1 – cucumber
1 – tomato
1 bunch of lettuce leaves
1 bunch of fresh, purple basil
1 canned corn (about 50 gr)
For the vinaigrette (Toss two tablespoon olive oil, one tablespoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon dry basil until blended.)
